Tossed him back actually. Maybe someone will catch him a bit bigger this year.
  2. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Thanks guys. Just hoping I can do better this year. Looking to bust 12 pounds. I've never personally seen one that large and would love to drag one in.
  3. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was a proud fisherman that day and I continue to be. I'm hoping I can step into a weight range in the teens this year.
  4. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

No. The worst part is they drained this lake late last year. The damn was mom longer to code so they drained it and pulled all the fish. I went through a major depression. Lol
  5. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

I wish there was a way to get a John boat in, but there isn't. A canoe or kayak would be perfect though.
  6. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

No John boats, but kayak/canoe would be fine of you want to carry it To the lake. It's a 1/4 mile hike

  10. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Another nice fish! Now I want to find a fishing kayak and fish the areas I haven't been able to get to yet.
  11. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

I haven't had any luck here with soft baits. I have the same worms in 6" zoom bait. It's called "red shad" in there color book.
  12. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

I believe I have some in a different color?!? Either way, this lake is loaded but they are mostly in the 1-5lb range. I hooked a large one a few weeks back and he pulled my treble hook off my crank bait. So this time I went out with a chartreuse double blade spinner bait and low and behold...
  13. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Private lake. I was told there were no fish bigger than 4-5 lbs. The owner was shocked I threw him back!
  14. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Thank you. I may be forced to show off and post a picture up at bass pro. Lol
  15. Caught this guy last night here in Gwinnett county.

Caught this guy here in Gwinnett county last night on a spinner bait. 10lbs, 22" long large mouth. Just thought I would share for all the other fishing enthusiasts to enjoy. -Calan-
  16. Need advice from you bass pros

If you weren't 3 hours from me, I would be glad to come help you figure things out...
  17. Need advice from you bass pros

I would also try a pumpkin centepede rigged wacky worm with a blood red hook. You should have something on the line with any of these variations. If not, I'm afraid to say the other answer might not be the one your looking for....
  18. Need advice from you bass pros

Honestly, I've caught a lot lately on either a swim bait or 1/8oz Rooster tail
  19. Need advice from you bass pros

Right now is a tough time honestly. My lake, they're bedding so I'm not catching many either. Look for some bare areas viable from shore, usually near a downed tree or log. It's hard to advise how to fish not knowing the size or structure of you're pond.
