3.81lb Spotty caught on Carter's lake. It may be my PB but I think the one I caught at the Lanier dam may have it beat. Either way it was a good day! -

Actually I haven't caught a smallmouth since I was a kid living in Missouri. I haven't yet got one in the GA. Same here, I can't even catch any largemouth either. Seems like I'm fated to catch only spotted bass. Hell, I ain't complaining! I'll take these all day long! -

Fished Carters Lake today, heading back to the ramp now. Today was rough, caught a couple littles this am and the rest of the day was a bust. We went way up the river and I got lucky with my shakey head rig. Weighed in at 3.81lb. Crazy how things work out.
