    Oh boy, got a couple new Yaks!

    Try out hickory log reservoir. It's got some decent fish in there. I kayak the reservoir a good bit.

  3. canoe or kayak?

    I am debating in a canoe vs kayak for fishing purposes. I will possibly get two kayaks if I I choose kayaks over canoe. Anyone have any real experience with either for fishing rivers and coves?

  4. Anybody work on small boat motors?

    I came across an old Ted Williams 4.5hp that I want to use for my Jon. The motor has been sitting for a while. I was going to work on it but I don't know anything about outboards. If someone wants to work on it or knows someone cheap, please let me know.

  5. charging deep cycle marine battery

    I bought a Schumacher xc6 charger 2,4,and 6 amp settings. The book said not to use lower than 6 amp to charge the deep cycle battery.

    I purchased an ever start 24dc marine. I also purchased a charger. The guide in the package with the charger has the battery rating in RC instead of amp hour or cca. My DC battery is a 101 amp hour battery. How do I find out what RC it is so I k is how long it should charge? Thanks.

  7. striper not stripper advice for beginner.

    Can any one give me some advice on striper fishing? I was going to try the little river in Woodstock and lower etowah in canton. But are there any other places that are decent to go? How do I rig for stripers in the rivers or lakes? Thanks everybody.

  10. Jon boat batteries qustion.

    I am putting a trolling motor on my flat bottom 12' Jon, and was wondering what deep cycle to use. The trolling motor is going to be the only means of propulsion. Also, when I hook up marker and crappie lights on a separate battery, do I just wire directly to the batteries?

  13. Fishing tomorrow, any good places, thinking about going to Bull Sluice in roswell

    I am going to try to go hit the water tomorrow for some trout and crappie. I came across some talking about Bull Sluice at morgan falls, has anyone been there recently? Are the any decent places left to fish?

  14. fly fishing taccoa river

    I am fairly new to fly fishing. I have been to rock creek and amacolola river off 53. I am wanting to take my fiancé to the river and I've never been to taccoa. Is there any advice on a section that is relatively easy to get too and wade? I'm not trying to steal a spot but I just would like to...
