  4. Anybody swapped Savage Barrels?

    Either there is an issue with the stock, the rifling is damaged / a burr inside barrel, or the barrel is loose. I would swap out barrels anyway. I would just order a prefit, .250 recoil lug, go gauge, and wrench. It takes 10 mins to do.

    You can use a thin coat of bedding material or just seal it with clear coat. I usually just leave them alone. I like BC alot. They make strong, affordable stocks.

    9 run guns close to Savannah. I was on the way to fort Stewart and it was enroute. Plus he builds PRS style and long range rifles. I’ll post pics when he’s done.
