    The seller should make it right by offering to pay to have it repaired by Smith or by repurchasing. He should be able to sell this one pretty easy once it is repaired he just may not want to deal with the drive.

    You should not fire as gas and debris look for any exit. Also, it could fail even worse They should take care of this and be thankful you were not injured.
