I’ve got a 25yo Benelli M1-90 that I love.
I replaced the mainspring in it 12 years ago.
It feels like it needs it again.
Any suggestions for replacement? Upgrades?
Oversized and out of round action screw holes
I’ve already ground down rear tang bedding. Trigger guard view. Middle support wrecked and attempted to rebuild.
Thanks Rockyfatcat for the information.
For clarity sake, this is a 30yo stock for a 50yo rifle that some soul bedded 20+ years ago.
I bought it, not aware that it was bedded, during negotiations. While not ideal being bedded for another action, I would use it as is, if it weren’t for the...
I bought a Bell and Carlson fiberglass stock for a Remington 788 that has been glass bedded with the action canted a few degrees. The cant wouldn’t allow the action screws or detachable magazine to line up. I’ve relieved the bedding at the tang and recoil lug to allow the cant to be corrected...
A friend described this to me over the phone and it got me to thinking.
Someone didn’t know how to properly measure or cut down a shotgun barrel on a S&W 12ga pump. Ends up the barrel is 17.5ish.
So what would be the proper fix ? Weld or braze an extension onto the end and properly dress it up?
That OD Green 19 Resurrection is mine. I just picked it up and I’m tickled with it.
On the way home I was thinking about how curious this ODT community would sound to an outsider. A week ago I pulled up in a parking lot and handed a stranger my sidearm and some folding money. I don’t even know...
I’m willing to stand up and confess to being the owner of the G19 getting revived. I am not the molestor. I’d like to point out that the slide has had all of the finish polished off as well. That too, will be remedied soon. I’ve carried that gun concealed for a while. I’m looking forward to...
Ordered a Boyd laminated stock that they don't make in bull barrel.
Would like to rent a barrel channel scraper for a bull barrel.
Located in Henry County, but travel all over metro Atl.
Looking for an extractor. Looks like the regular sources are out of stock with no forecast arrival time.
Anybody have one, or a source?
Would prob take an extractor spring and plunger as well just to be safe.

Nevermind fellas. I discovered that I didn't reinstall the firing pin spring... About a year ago.
It would fire pointed up, but not down or level sometimes. Worked fine shooting geese Found the spring on the workbench.
Im an idiot.
