    Okay I got the answer its a sear block and the hole for it is a larger diameter to prevent the insertion of a sear.

    Hmm. That is certainly interesting. Since its from 86 it may be before the ATF really defined what features took it from semiauto to full auto in their eyes. I was always under the impression that a 3rd hole was enough to be an mg.

    Yea his argument is that the LOP is less than a Rossi 92 Mares leg, but since its adjustable and modeled after a normal AR stock I think he's going to have to stamp it.

    He's trying to get it classified as a pistol since the LOP is like 5", and he said if the ATF wont allow that he will just SBR it.
