    I have an old, roughed up Mossberg 500 that I would like to change to a shorter barrel. Online I can find 18.5 inch barrels with a bead sight. Would it be a big deal to install rifle sights or ghost ring sights? If so, is there a north Georgia gunsmith that could do the drilling and tapping?

    He has done work for me a few times from refinishing, modifications and repairs. He always does a great job and is very interesting to talk to!

    I had him shorten and refinish a 1974 Marlin 336. The rifle was not pitied or beat up bad, but the finish on both the metal and wood was gone. It is now perfect, almost too nice to hunt with. He did an excellent job. It's the rifle in this photo.
