That's why I don't believe it's the round. I pulled the extractor away from the round and pulled back on the slide with no luck. I think it's some other type of failure.

Thank you my friend! It's different for sure. The gun started off scratched up and had some good holster wear. I'd never do this to a safe queen. I bought the gun with full intent of "customizing" and making it a rugged shooter.
