Well I did contact them and they were insisting it's fine. I told em I would be more comfortable using UPS or Fedex and they could even deduct whatever the extra postage would be from my return.
They haven't gotten back to me after that so figured I better find someone local to ship it out if...
So the deal is I bought a revolver from an auction house on gunbroker. It has a timing issue they didn't disclose so I'm returning it.
They sent me a return label but it's a USPS label and from my understanding a non-FFL using USPS to ship a pistol is not okay. They may have been the ones who...
So I'm looking into doing a 1911 build, specifically recreating a pistol from a game. It's basically a Colt new agent with custom engraving and trench/gutter sights.
Currently I'm planning on getting a Caspian officer's slide and frame so they can just fit em. Does anyone have recommendations...
I'd say live with it since any finish is gonna wear at the same spots if you're carrying regularly. You could try one of those Birchwood black paint touch up pens.
I believe the gas port would be the same size. Anecdotally I did a build a Taiwanese T65 rifle using one of the retro barrels from Brownells. Had ADCO swap the standard A1 FSB for the T65 FSB. Works fine, doesn't feel like it's under/over gassed or anything.
I got myself a T65 parts kit and am looking to have the upper, FSB, charging handle, and flash hider refinished. I've seen that moly resin has good result with other retro builds so I wanted to see if anyone in the Atlanta area would be able to refinish with it.
Hey everyone, I'm doing an AR build but need the barrel I got drilled to install the FSB. Any gunsmith in the Atlanta area that can do that? I tried GA Firing Line but apparently they can't actually drill a barrel.
Hey everyone, so I'm looking at doing a parts kit build of a Sten Gun MK II. Anyone know of a smith in the Atlanta area that can do the actual build though? I've got no welding experience and don't even have anywhere in my place that I could.
I'm currently doing a CZ 26 build and so far the hardest part to find has been a 7.62x25 barrel. I've found one now, but the supplier only has em in the white. So I'd wanna get it hot blued or nitrided. Any smith in the ATL area that can do this?
That's the video I saw to get the basic idea of what to do actually.
I have a dremel, so I could do the grinding part. I do not have any welding experience or a drill press to enlarge the button hole on the top of the receiver though.
So I'm picking up a PPS-43C pistol and parts kit today and am ultimately looking to SBR it, would be my third. Anyone know a gunsmith, preferably around the Atlanta metro area but can go further that would be able to do the SBR conversion?
