    Nate did the burnt bronze cerakote on my XD45 and it came out perfect. Now I'm saving my pennies to get him to do the slide on my XDS-45 in titanium.

    Get with this guy since you are so close to Alabama. http://www.xd-hs2000.com/xd-hs2000/Welcome.html Installing XD sights is a PAIN if you don't have the correct tool. Actually its beyond a pain, its damn near impossible!

    Nate did my XD 45 Slide and controls in burnt bronze and added Truglo TFO sights....came out perfect!! Could not have asked for a better job! His team is top notch over there...If you want to add some bling to your lead slinger, he's your man!!

    Tula did it to mine also...brass rod down the barrel and a couple firm taps on the end did it for me.

    I think $75 is fair for a competent gunsmith...Don't trust a bargain basement smith..you get what you pay for. Or you could get this kit: http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=80001163-1312996418 And $190 for a factory blue? I'd send it to them.
