Much appreciated - however my sights are still on the way. I'll touch back with you as soon as they get here! I'm going to try to sneak away for the M&G though...haven't been to one in years!
Which one do you have? If it's sturdy I may order just to have one myself. All the ones I saw that "appeared" to be decent were $100 +

Worked great. I put a penney under the slide to raise it high enough. Pushed plastic sights out and put Trijicon Suppresor sights in.

Lol!!!! He damn sure gonna need one. Those Shield sights are the tightest I have EVER messed with. Be careful with that sight pusher on the rear sights. Dont ask me how I know. Lol!!!!!!!
I just changed out the sights on my shield last weekend with aluminum punch and hammer. Came out perfectly. New ones went in really nice too. Not a mark on them
I bought the name-brand one, not a knock-off. It was closer to $100 with all the trimmings, but well worth it. Makes changing and adjusting sights a breeze. Windage is right on all my handguns now, because it's very easy to move the sight over a calculated amount. And you can do it at the range.
