    you can read horror stories about ANY cs, as well as good. i have personally had 3 dealings with kimber CS, and on all 3 occasions a new part was sent immediately. 2 were for extractors, and one for a firing pin stop.

    you can apply stain many ways. you can use a paper towel, a rag, a brush, or a sponge. just leave it a few minutes and wipe off. let it dry, the reapply if its not dark enough.
