    I'm working on my new M9 compact. I am curious is to how similar the full size barrel is to the compact. I would assume (but you know the ol' saying) that it's the same with the exception of the length. If anyone has one, can you post some pics of the barrel and block along side a tape measure...

    Once i stripped the old bluing and rust the metal was really pitted. I media blasted the barrel and the receiver to give it a even textured finished. Then I Teflon/moly the metals. The stock was stripped back down, dents removed it was restained and sealed.

    Finished a 10/22 job. A guy brought it to me to refinish. It was his dads that was passed down to him. Said he abused it a little and was his truck gun. Had it in a tool box with a battery and the battery exploded. What do you guys think.

    Friend of mine in the army said they used baby wipes to clean everything beside the bore and seem to work well when i did it.

  18. Remington 870 barrels, advice wanted

    My 870 has to different barrels. One is a 26'' for hunting and the other is a 18 remington barrel. I went with the remington vs the carlsons because of the mixed reviews
