  1. Micro muzzle breaks on a AR/ LR 308

Titanium Titan is 3.5 oz if the 5.5 oz steel is too heavy to tote. You're already giving up a 100 fps muzzle vel with a 16" vs 18" barrel in .308.
  2. Micro muzzle breaks on a AR/ LR 308

Double your length and get an SJC Titan.
  3. Micro muzzle breaks on a AR/ LR 308

The only rifles I shoot with a muzzle blast amplification device on the muzzle are 2-gun and 3-gun comp rifles.
  4. Need help with stripped screw head

@ItBeMe welded a driver to my stripped out screw. I was going to have to replace the screw anyway. While I was there I had him install a new security system for my truck.
  5. Putting in a drop in trigger in a ar15

Drop ins are easy. Take off the pistol grip since you'll likely need to remove the safety to install the drop in. Watch where the little pin and spring go that retains the safety selector. I recommend anti-walk pins too for modular drop in triggers.
  6. School me on QD muzzle device installation

I use Rocksett on mine (SilencerCo ASRs). I use only peel washers for timing if needed.
  7. Starting a AR10 build

Save yourself some aggravation and order an extra power hammer spring for the FCG. Also, if you plan on shooting suppressed or with a variety of ammo, I'd spend a few extra shekels and buy a Riflespeed adjustable gasblock.
  8. Starting a AR10 build

New definition/example of a "gut spill." Thanks for posting!
  9. What is up with folks paying a gunsmith to clean their guns?!

$4 to clean a gun is a bargain if it, like you say, is done right.
  10. Remove barrel bead

Should be threaded. You could hit with some heat if stubborn.
  11. Looking for a ak builder

This whole thread reminds me of torqueing and staking a castle nut for some reason.
  12. Looking for a ak builder

Think we could get him to do the builds for say......$100 ea and a 25lb bag of rice?
  13. Torque wrench question

It's all fun and games until someone gets sensitive. I'm done.
  14. Torque wrench question

    Death, taxes and thread trolls.
  15. Torque wrench question

Hey, I agree. I'm just trying to be more kumbaya and gold dust unicorn farts here.
  16. Torque wrench question

No. You aren't. As long as you don't over tighten it, chances are it won't loose easily.
  17. Torque wrench question

Not only can I troll threads, I can use a torque wrench to tighten a castle nut, smart enough to know I have no business telling a man what he should charge for his time and I'm rich enough to own three torque tools.
