You really have to do a song and a dance to take these apart and put them back together. I practice a couple dozen times taking it apart and putting it back together but seems like I have to relearn it each time I do it.
I've had something similar happen to mine. The fix is squeezing the trigger and holding at a certain angle and whacking it once or twice with a rubber mallet.

My justification for using the Synthetic oil is 1) very high heat tolerance 2) good to very frigid temps (lower than I will ever go, and 3) at <$25/gallon, why not? I always have a couple gallons on hand for my VW TDI so I will never run out of gun lube.
What mags are you using? If you are using an aftermarket one with plastic lips, they tend to not feed as well. Use one with steel lips (butler creek or ruger bx 25). A couple of things you can do....
