    cmshoot or any other which AR triggers would you recommend, i have a geisele g2s thats a 2 stage. What other brand's do y'all like. I will mainly be bench shooting from my 308 with optics. So i wonder would a single stage be my best direction. What say you.

    Yep. Blow out and clean the piston with forced air..this area hardly erea never receives a theral cleaning.

    Could be the gun just hasn't broken in yet. I have a mark 3 that runs great. Run a few 100 rounds through it and see if it improves. If not, may want to polish feedramps.

    Same mags, or have you tried others.

    The 742 is a great gun. Like most they're poorly maintained. I suggest using compressed air and cleaning piston and all mechanical areas of the gun.

    Stainless would be my guess. Stainless will rust and pit . Its not really that much of a rare gun. In its condition I'd refinish by Cerakote. But I would run the numbers to see exactly what you have.
