    :thumb: I've got a DPMS LR308 with a 24" barrel. Love mine. All day range visits are a joy. Very little recoil and cycles everything. No complaints.

    Ruger's 10/22 may have more aftermarket accessories available for it, but the Marlins are easier on the wallet and shoot forever!

    I got the 24 incher on mine. Was just gonna use it as a range gun initially, but took it to the woods later in the season. Dang sure don't wanna have to carry it far! Workin' on another with an 18" barrel and lighter stock.:)
