Not real keen on the factory stain job so I thought I would give it some character...............

Now if I could just get my hands on a 18" barrel!!!!

Masking tape & Hack saw! Just like in the movies. Sand it down & have it ceracoated.

I think the regular stock looks good but, the dark one better. I especially like how you can still see the natural grain. Nice job.

Yea I know but I want to keep this barrel for hunting as it has the choke..........

Academy has Mossberg 18.5 slug replacement barrels for your 870 if you can find them. I picked one up for around $120 a few months back.
