1-4(ish) scope recommendations

Then I would skip the primary arms and the Optisan. Spring for the Leupold. If not, the bushnell is nice but heavy. If you don't have to have the he illuminated reticle, the non-illuminated version of that 1-4x Bushnell is $99.99 w/free shipping at PSA.

i'm sure you could easily get your miney back if you decided to upgrade later. I'm really tempted to get one for a later build.

That's not too bad for the QD version, but if you decide to go with the non-QD, SWFA sells their SSALT mount(yes salt and pepper) which is the exact same as the burris PEPR mount for $59 all day. Comes with 1" inserts too.

FWIW, unless you're talking Larue or similar quality mount (more than your scope in this case), the QD's don't have great reputations. I bought the Burris pepr qd mount long ago and sent it back becuase the qd mechanism was really cheesy. I didn't trust that it would hold a zero. I went with the fixed version and the SWFA version at that.
