After trying to get some .22's for the past month for plinking with my son, I have decided that it was a pain in the ass! I went to walmart almost every day looking for some and still couldn't find any. So, yesterday I posted an ad to trade for some. I was finally successful with the trade and got two boxes today.
Since all of this, I think that there may be some other guys that aren't getting to go shoot with their kids because they can't find ammo either. What I will do is give my extra box of 525 rounds to another member that is just wanting to take their kids shooting, preferably this weekend. If you shoot them all in one outing that's fine, if not repost them and give the remaining rounds left to the next family to go shoot with each other.

This specific box was not made to be resold at a profit, sit in a preppers safe along with another 10k rounds, this box was made to be enjoyed by kids!

To choose a winner, I am open to ideas. My son had several ideas. His ideas were: kid with the "coolest" bicycle, best hand drawn target, "coolest" kid's gun, or either best report card. So that being said, I am open to ideas. If there are specific ways to do the giveaways on the site, just let me know because I have never done one.

This give away is for the kids, so please be honest and don't enter if you have no kids! Also, if you have any recent posts selling ammo for more than retail, your entry will be ignored!

Just say you're in and that you are gonna do the right thing and let the kids shoot them up!!
Will have my son draw the post numbers tomorrow (2/8/13) at 7:30pm
Good Luck to your kids winning!!!

Had I not gotten lucky a couple weeks ago with a 1000rd walmart find, I'd be all over this. It's sad when you can't even find .22 ammo to take your kids shooting with. I hope someone (fairly) takes advantage of this. You're a stand up guy.

There are not many individuals out there with this generosity. A great lesson for the kids, my daughter (12) asked what the contest was. She then suggested a trade for some cupcakes from the new place next to the Papa Johns. They are very Good.
