Haha! It's a bitter sweet feeling isn't it?
This was my first experience dipping my toes into the knife world... Y'all mother ****ers are CRAZY!!!
I haven't made it yet but hope to one day soon.
Hardcore knife collectors are a whole new level of crazy. I am just an amateur. I stick with guns most of the time, gun collecting is cheaper.
Just got back from day #2. Just some general observations: This years show is the best one I've been to yet. It's clear everyone is stepping up their game. Even the low end builders are turning out some great work. There's some real value to be had, IMO. Walk the custom tables, keep track of who has what, and some solid deals can be had.
I bought an EESE folder from Knife Works, a fixed blade from Smith and Sons, and my first Great Eastern Cutelery folder.
May go back tomorrow and see if any bargains can be had, folks that would rather sell than take it home. All in all, it was a terrific day.
