Seen 4 does and 3 fawns so far. No bucks yet. Thought the 120 lbs of Big Tine I put out Wed afternoon would last 3 or 4 days. The deer apparently had other ideas.

I got permission to hunt a property where these old folks want every deer killed we can. I wanted to take my daughter to get her first deer but she had friends spend the night so I got my oldest son with me. He just dropped a doe with his 6.5 Grendel at about 140 yards. He shot it back too far but hit something good. First deer with his rifle. I took a video but don’t know how to upload it. We’re waiting a few more minutes to see if he can get another.
