10/22 Porn

Parts and pieces to eventually be working plinkers.
Top is a factory receiver and bolt with Talo threaded barrel. I have a factory trigger and pins so this one could be working at any moment.
Bottom is Brownells BRN22R with 16" threaded barrel, JWH muzzle device, JWH bolt and charging handle. Have not decided on trigger and stock yet. I don't have a Magpul stock so may consider that.

Thread has been a bit quiet lately.. What's up 10/22 fans??

Kidd receiver, bolt, etc. Kidd UL threaded barrel, vQ trigger (anyone wanna trade for a Kidd?), Victor Company Titan stock with Kidd rear tang, kidd 20 Moa scope rail, Bushnell Elite Tactical 3-12x44 with FFP G2/DMR reticle sitting in Burris Extreme Tactical rings with another 15moa of cant. Accu-tac bipod. Need to order a Henderson Precision ARCA Swiss rail and have that mounted on the stock. Will probably cerakote this thing and it will be finished.

What kinda mags do everyone like? I don't care for the 25 rd ones, probably stick with 10 and 15.

10's and 15's always work and nice if bench shooting. 25's are less reliable in my experience. If they work they work but I have had a few that don't feed well. I Mark those with a sharpie for range use only. Apparently there are YouTube fixes but have not explored.
I am pretty much using 10 OEM most of the time.

BX-10, BX-15, BX-25 only .. not a fan of the butler creek junk

BX 25's. I have one out of 4 that does not feed the fatter lead nose rounds but they all feed the copper jacketed cci mini mag perfectly. That's all I really shoot anyway so no problem.

15 round BX mags are the way to go

i have 8 BX25's that I used for shooting steel matches. If kept clean they have all ran fine for me. I prefer the BX15's but the BX25's can be found for cheaper...go figure?
