10/22 Porn

When the NFA tax on SBR's goes away,
I may get a extra 10/22 factory barrel and Birch stock, do my Form 1, and experiment with making an SBR out of one of my 1022 receivers. I'd like to see how a little carbine handles with a 10 or 11 inch barrel.

If I love it enough, maybe I'll have it threaded to accept my AAC suppressor.
If you buy a 10" barrel (excellent choice) your selections will most likely already be threaded. Charger barrels from S&P or Kidd or Acculite will be threaded already.
I have dispatched groundhogs and prairie dog out past 100' with my 8" factory Ruger barrel and 6" whistle pig barrel.

Sbr 10/22s are a ton of fun. This was one of my favorites to shoot when I was an 07/02

I love the juice behind this gun as I was the engineer on that line year back when we did the 50th. Ruger used to use that as the jump off for a lot of ME’s and I spent a year there before I went to the Precision. It wasn’t my idea but blame me for the laser marking on the bolt. The people that built those guns were awesome and back then we were building a gun every 21 seconds. Tape a Franklin to that.
