I started out then it started to rain, I have no cover to hunt under but I have plenty of time to hunt (it's easy to get addicted to retirement)
plus the wind is from the E & ENE
as basstracker89 said I don't want the deer patterning me so I'm staying in and hunt off the back deck

We live on 13.5 acres private property. So there's no problem with me getting them early. I harvest and process everything myself. I don't believe in paying for free meat, That god put here for you and me to thrive.
I also do everything myself
my neighbor shot one last week and quartered it up and drove from NE Bartow to Monticello to the processor he uses because his wife likes their sausage, it's a 6 hour round trip
I told him Cabela's sells grinders and Academy has good spices & casings, he told me he didn't have time to do it, go figure LOL
