Man I love Hunterween... Lots of action for me tonight and congrats to everyone on the great kills!

My black-eared doe is coming into estrous early again just like last year. Our normal rut is Nov 15 - 20, but she starts early. And just like last year, she had a 6 dogging her early. I had one of her fawns on video earlier today by itself, but I figured she was off camera with the other fawn. But tonight around 5:30, she comes trotting in real fast, stops to take a couple of bites of clover, and then circles around in front and behind me. 30 seconds later I see horns, and this 6 pops out on the edge of the field. He was too small so let him walk. A half hour later the other resident doe and her fawns show up, and then another 5 pointer showed up just before end of legal light.

The next couple of days will hopefully be interesting. But this morning at 7am, I had my target buck on camera at the front of my property checking out a mock scrape I made. The camera lights freak him out so he didn't stick around long. Approximately 30 minutes later I heard a shot from across the street so hoping it wasn't him cuz he's a biggun.

Spent the whole day talking to different state agencies including local cops trying to get some help for
a mentally ill family member that went off the deep end with four kids in the house.
Still waiting in a parking g lot as we speak to pick the kids up after they do their thing.

Prayers sent brother.

Ended up seeing 7, 3 does, 3 yearlings, and a small 8, which when he showed up ran 3 of them out of the food plot. 5 of them were so close to my shooting house at times that I couldn't see any of them but could hear them munching acorns like they were cracking pecans! Turned out to be a nice evening with a little action.........

Sorry to hear that brother, hope things end up better.
