They are darker roasts, I use 4 scoops for 6 cups of water, 8 for a whole pot. Otherwise it is too strong.

Then you will like it. Look for silver bags marked "dark roasts".
Brick shaped coffee is medium roast and probably too weak for you.

I agree. I buy a whole fillet and I'm good to go for two weeks.

The ribeye is dark like aged beef should be, full of flavor, tender and juicy. I like all of the beef at Aldi. Last trip I got 4 all natural, no antibiotics, grass fed sirloin steaks for $7 and change. Each steak is just over 8 oz and they are good. I was in the store at the right time and got the last 4 steaks on the shelves.
