Had a Tom and a couple of Jakes walk up on me. The wind got iffy in my first spot, so I moved to a thick hardwood draw that is surrounded by short pines.

I’m going down this eve for 2-3 days it’s just getting started down there,should be wide open about mid next week.

Two weeks ago that’s how I got my eight point. He walked in 10 minutes after the rain let up.

Hunting in Cherokee Co got it on 11-9

Just got in the ground box on a food plot. Spooked a young doe on the way in, flagged but never blew when it took off. Food plot is finally fairly green. Hoping one cruises through this evening.

Hunted for a while; but came back early. Have a 20-25 mph wind coming off the lake. Blowing so hard that I didn't even see a squirrel. Cooler Saud that nothing was coming in with wind and rain today. Have 3 more days off to hunt anyway.

Back in same food plot as Wednesday hopefully buck will come a little earlier
