Got up to go and heavy rain at the house. Who’s going? No box stand life for me so,,,

I'm gonna sit it out this morning. Got stuff to do this evening, I'll be back tomorrow if it isn't raining

Sports today, Daughter and I will be hunting tomorrow.

Gf and I are trying it. Sitting in a box blind in an overgrown pecan orchard. Rain has slacked off to a light drizzle for the moment.

Rain has picked back up a little, but we have seen 3 young bucks and 2 does so far.

I only have a climber. Too dang wet for me. Maybe it will dry up later.

Sitting in my box blind dry but underdressed for this wind. Watched 2 spikes for about 1/2 hour. Think I'm going to go in, put some warmer clothes, and go to my ground blind in the woods.

In a box blind, but it sure is nasty. And to think, I could be in a warm house, with coffee, Fox news, and my darling wife. But, Nooooo. Lol. And, I haven't seen a deer.

Rain has finally stopped here, but we haven't seen any more deer yet. We have seen 4 or 5 fox squirrels, including this really cool looking nearly solid black one.

I'm in for the day. First time I got to sleep late since the start of Muzzleloader season.
