.375 RUM is an African game cartridge. 300gr of hurt traveling at Mach 3. That's insane that you're hunting whitetail deer with it!

Well we came close to getting her first deer this morning. Had one come across the powerline about 60 yards pretty quick. I stopped it for a few seconds she couldn’t find it in scope. We will get one next time

That's awesome! Whether we see a deer or not, my favorite hunts are with my little girl! I'm thinking about getting her one of those Americans in 300blk as well. I got her a M77 compact in 7mm-08, but I have a suppressor and tons of 300blk ammo.
