11-15 Hunt

On the way home I nearly hit a buck that was probably a 120"-130" deer. It was right at heavy's BBQ on hwy 22. I'd be lying if the thought of mashing the gas didn't cross my mind for a split second. I had every intention on shooting a big doe if I saw one this evening. Probably why I only saw little ones

Barely saw any this afternoon, couple small ones, seems a wee bit strange after so much activity this morning, but it was dang near 80 degrees so I'm guessing that had something to do with it.

Rutting buck grunted at me , I convinced him to take a ride in the bed of the truck.

Yall enjoy and be safe.

For those of you that dont know this is my buddy… I met him thru us sponsoring a Paralyzed Veterans of America hunt at our cabin 6 years ago…
He has hunted here with our family ever since I first met him.,,

He has killed Turkeys, Fox and his first racked buck…. His biggest and ranks up there with joy of my boys first kills.

I certainly couldn't be more proud…
When you have been in wheelchair for half you life.

I have never heard him complain. It makes my problems pale in comparison..:
