Should have shot it.... sigh. Although I did see a tiny tiny spike. Smallest I have ever seen... bet he wasn't 1/2 inch long. The dumb ass was rubbing a tree. Although he was small, no sigh at all of rut. He was as chill as could be. Neck was normal and hocks were normal light brown.... was in banks county...

1/2 means he's prolly 6 months old. His balls aint dropped yet. I'd move spots to where you know the does are.

I missed a nice one this evening. Right at last light I aim for the neck and he didn't go down. Tomorrow is another day and I have a feeling it's gonna be good. Even with this wind. Here is a pic of a spike right under me this evening.

I killed two good bucks in one weekend on an incoming front. 8pt on a Sat, 9pt on Sunday. They'll be chasing and seeking despite an impending apocalypse.

My Father passed on a big 8 today. Said that buck's nose was planted up the rear of the doe that was towing him around.

I've seen 0 signs of rut in Chattooga or Walker Co. Anybody up north seeing any signs of the rut?
