11/23 hunt

I was in New Jersey this past Thursday. It's good to be back "home." The last time I was here it was close to 80 degrees and I was fighting mosquitoes. Hoping to have some deer show up in this field now....

I've taken two deer with it so far, the first went about 20 yards and went down with a large blood trail, this guy went about 60 yards but it didn't leave much of a blood trail. Both shots where heart/lung area.

Saw 9 before dark including a shooter that I THOUGHT was gonna turn and come straight to me. I had 5 does under me at that point. He kept on truckin'. After dark is when every deer in a 3 square mile area decided to get under me. Had a cold beer or 3 callin' my name so I finally had to run 'em off.
My brother is coming in the morning, I hope he gets a big 'un.
