for years it was a tradition to take my sons on Thanksgiving morning to hunt NE Merriwether before heading to Columbus for dinner
now our parents have passed and I'm now the grandfather/great grandfather
staying home helping Shirley before the hoard arrives, damn them kids can eat

Had a large group come in, got winded and most of them ran but had one Doe make the mistake of stopping to look back. Just got home from dropping it off at the processor. Not a trophy buck but still meat in the freezer.
