I saw one piddly spike this morning at 8:15. With the new moon I wouldn't be surprised if deer will be moving mid day.

Saw a doe who unfortunately saw me first. Spike a few minutes later then a larger buck who may have been a shooter, just couldn't get a good look at him. Walked back through the back gate to the house, as I approached looked through the front gate and a good 8 pointer was walking past it (the gate) got him in the scope as he disappeared behind some shrubs. They are on the prowl.
