Back in the stand with a good steady breeze right now, hoping this doesn't turn into rain before dark.

In stand now, just inside some thick woods on the edge of a cotton field. Got a big one on camera at 4:11am looking like he might be chasing does. Sent my buddy to that stand hoping he gets lucky.

Lucky is remembering what you're there for.......

So far 3 does 30 yards from me. They caught me being on my phone and back down the ridge…. Damn

finally got one today... nice spike, seen some does that were borderline shootable... but as far as meat goes, a spike or forky, or young does is what i prefer... he is in the brine in the fridge, we will freeze most of him tomorrow and make deer tacos Tuesday night.... i wish my daughter had seen one today, but at least we got some meat in the fridge...
