12/10 Hunt

This is my 1st sit back in the woods since November 10th, and I am excited to see what the Lord will provide for a harvest! Regardless if I collect anything or not, I am ever so thankful for the opportunity to be back out in the deer woods

50° and a slight mist in the air here in Polk Co. Good luck and God bless to everybody out there after em today

Just had a small 8 that has serious potential for next year if he makes. He got within 10 yards of me, I almost got trigger happy.

I heard lots of shots this morning. I haven’t seen anything but squirrels and a pile of them

So far I've had 4 does and a 7 pt come by. The 7 I didn't even notice until he was 10 yards away. Dang stealthy little guy, came from behind me, he got a free pass. He will be a good one next year, looked young and was even with ears and had long tines. Since then I've heard a few blowing, they're up wind so I'm not sure what is spooking them.
