Well, the engraving was off center to begin with....it still is. The 1 in 1871 starts about 1/8 aft of the muzzle. At least now, its difficult to see. Pretty much ignored the engraving and set the barrel length as long as I can stand for when sitting long stints in the stand. As for action job, no, just new springs. Colts rarely need action work to be very nice as is. I'll leave the itty bitty handgun trigger pulls to the fellas willing to risk an ND....and the Sig owners!
