I purchased at $389 with free shipping then added Hogue grips for consistency with other handguns. Have fired lots of cheap ammo as well as limited rounds of quality ammo and have zero complaints. This is not my choice for home defense but love it for plinking a larger caliber.

You would be better off going with the Academy deal where you get a Heritage Rough Rider for free. Sell the HRR and be in the Taurus for about the same price.

Sold out! FYI :Taurus makes an excellent wheel gun. Just as well as S&W. Their wheel guns are manufactured in the same plant that use to be S&W in Brasil. The semi autos are hit or miss.
