1911 Porn-Let's See What You Got

Good afternoon 1911 / 2011 fans, it has been a while since I visited.
I picked up this RIA TAC Ultra FS 10mm the other day.. Functions perfectly but shoots a bit high even with the rear sight cranked all the way down.. I am sure it is the way I look at the fiber optic front sight.. If I like it enough I may have to put a set of fixed Novak on her.. It has "rubber" grips so I had to pull them off and throw on a spare set of VZ's I had hanging around.. Now I need to find a holster that will accommodate the full rail.

Nice-lookin' 1911! You could always have a slightly taller Front Sight fitted to lower the POI--Dawson has several to choose from, IIRC--Just an idea, mind you...

Maybe you will like this one better since my 1903 wasn't quite what you wanted to see on a 1911 thread. I took the pearl grips off today and added some very old Sambar Stag grips.

Wish I could afford a nice stand like that. Not the gun, I'd just like to be able to afford the stand! @SchmittZoid killed it with that one.
