I got ahold of a used Baer at a solid price yesterday. I contacted LB with the serial number this morning and found out the original specs:
Model: Premier II
Year: 2009
Finish: Blued
Sights: Fixed rear / FO front
Cocking Serrations: Rear only
Thumb Safeties: Left only
It has been Cerakoted, front sight swapped to tritium, rear sight swapped to a 10-8 fixed U-notch, and grips changed out to VZ ETC.
I did a full detail strip and clean last night. It was a little funky but cleaned up nicely. It's all numbers matching. Extractor tension is perfect. FCG doesn't appear to have ever been boogered up by a file. Lugs look great. Bushing is still bank vault tight. Came with (1) WC 47D mag. No box/docs/etc.
Aside from some fresh springs to establish a baseline, I don't think I'll do much aside from shoot the snot out of it. I thought about sending it off to Ford's Custom for a hard chrome spa day, but we'll see. I'll continue scuffing up the current Cerakote for now.
