1964 Kennedy Rolls..

I have a friend who is wondering what his rolls of actual, unopened 1964 Kennedy halves are actually worth.
(They are NOT for sale, he just wants to know their value.)

-Any coin guys out there know of a good way to figure out a realistic number for a roll?
-Surfing around, I find that the values seem to fluctuate a lot.

spot price is around 12.00 to 13.31 a piece for each half dollar. but gold and silver buyers will try to get them for around 8-10 bucks to make a dollar them selves . if he changes his mind on selling let me know i might be interested.
