- Driver Floor Pan Replaced
The "Bad List"
- Radiator (Has small leak on the inside of the radiator for the tranny/ oil cooler line - DOESNT RUN HOT AT ALL just leaks a little amount of fluid on the inside of the radiator)
- Oil Sending Unit (Reads perfect oil pressure at idle. When you tap the gas pedal it pegs the oil pressure. COMMON issue with these old k5 diesels)
- Passenger Window Motor ( Cleaned contacts and it worked good for a day. New motor is $35)
- A/C Compressor (I had compressor rebuilt by a good friend. It held a charge for about 4 days and apparently he didnt rebuild it right. Was frosty cold for a couple of days)
- 8 lug kit for 10 bolt front axle (Didnt finish the 8 lug hub conversion in the front. $150 for parts at junkyard or you can keep running it like it is)
- Speedometer gauge quit working. I replaced speedo gear and cable. Actual gauge is bad. I use a cheap GPS in it for speed. Its free with the rig.
- No Radio (cheap fix)
- Could use new carpet in front
- Door Panels are ugly so I took them out (still got them in garage)
- Fiberglass repair on lower driver door doesnt look so hot but its effective (rust repair).
- Back interior panels, backseat, and top are out of the blazer right now. Was planning on getting it Rhino Lined in a couple of weeks and started prep work. I can reinstall.
I AM TRYING TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE ABOUT THIS RIG. It really does run great. I had a huge list of items I wanted to build it with.
CASH - $2250 obo (NO THAT DOESNT MEAN I WILL TAKE A GRAND, HAHA)
