1st’s

1st guns were given to me by my pawpaw.

Then stolen from family members after he passed. ( from his gun cabinet).

I went upstairs to clean and lube them and every. Single. Gun. Was gone.

Scumbags.

Yep, true colors are shown

It was stuff like that that happened to me when I was young that made me the man I am today. The things that my grandfather instilled into me- that you have to work for everything you have and nothing will be handed to you. Working the horse farm was probably one of the best things he made me do as a young man.that a pouring concrete while my friends were playing during the summer

Guess what most of those people in the family are dead or in jail already 20 years later.

I don’t know how many people on this forum are around the Woodstock area, but we owned w bar s ranch on hwy 92 and old hey 5 and Wilson and sons redi-mix on hwy 5 there in Woodstock. Thomas concrete bought us out in the mid 80s. European conglomerate bought out all of the other plants in the area and we’re selling the concrete cheaper than we could get the materials to bleed us dry.

We had four plants at one point in time. Atlanta Lithia Springs, Holly Springs and Woodstock.

My dad and uncles started that business with their bare hands. Got $100k loan with no collateral on a handshake promise. Found a mobile batch plant in Florida And disassembled it and brought it up here to Georgia and reassembled it piece by piece.

That started it all. Running on a shoestring budget and living hand to mouth for years until they found their groove.

Back when local banks were out to help local businesses.

Good luck trying to make it happen like that today!

Anyway, my dad pissed it all away on strippers before I was around. Cheated on all of his wives. That taught me what not to do is a man in Relationships. Anyway getting way off track. Lol

Sorry to thread hijack. The world we are living in is not the same. Hopefully Trump can bring us back to glory.

Good history and insight. This is the stuff the younger generation need to learn by. Most people that make anything of themselves have to work like a dog. Even to the point of near death to do it. You sacrifice everything for the job. I do mean everything. Life, family and health
