So their 458 socom is gtg? I have been debating buying one from rock river.
My old roommate had a radical firearms(still does) that needed about 100 rounds through it whilst I lubed the crap out of it. It has ran like a champ ever since
I'll have to check and run a long pipe cleaner through it. Thanks.
It did seem to run fine after lubed but only for a while. In the meantime I'll give it a thorough cleaning and see what the factory has to say. I have had a similar problem with a Daniel Defense that I purchased several years ago. It was a gas block issue, but they fixed it in and had it back to me within 2 weeks. They even sent a pre-labeled shipping box.
Brand spanking new. I haven't started reloading them yet, so I've only put 30 rounds through it but the first 30 were flawless and I've put hundreds through the 5.56. I like them
One other thing to check is that the gas rings are not all aligned with the slot open. I'm sure its something simple, but is a PITA to figure out. Post up a pic and maybe that will help.

Break in the mags. 6.8's are quite picky on mags and some are better than others. Sit with a wooden dowel and just work the follower. Also try different ammo. Once again, 6.8's can be picky with ammo as well.
I had an LWRC that did not like Hornady Vmax's, but ran everything else fine. Mags took some breaking in as well and there was one brand that just flat didn't work, can't remember whose though.

Yeah, that's basically what Radical Firearms said in their email reply. I should try ASC mags. So we shall see. I hope it's something that simple. Trying to break-in a 6.8 with 200 rounds as suggested is a pricey proposition. That ammo isn't cheap.
