1st Radical Firearms Experience at the range today

Yeah, that's basically what Radical Firearms said in their email reply. I should try ASC mags. So we shall see. I hope it's something that simple. Trying to break-in a 6.8 with 200 rounds as suggested is a pricey proposition. That ammo isn't cheap.
Despite my cynicism towards Radical, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues. But a failure to extract or eject has absolutely nothing to do with the magazines. And unfortunately, the idiots at Radical Firearms wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to diagnosing your (really their own) issues. The only reason they are still in business is because people keep buying the junk they peddle, based solely on price, with little to no effort towards researching the company and its widespread poor quality.

Quick update. I went to the range again 2 1/2 weeks ago after having thoroughly cleaned the rifle. 1st mag of 20 rounds was just fine. 2nd mag was not. Same jamming issue again but this time much worse. The jams were mostly FTE's and double-feeds, but they were often so severe that I had to break down the weapon to clear them. This happened with 3 different brands of mags. I didn't even get through another 20 rounds.

Thoroughly disappointed I cleaned the rifle (mistake) and contacted the company for an RMA. The company was very good about sending it in for service. After another 2 1/2 weeks I received the rifle back from them today saying that it was test fired with no issues. Great. Lesson learned. Cheap is not always a bargain.

They're saying that they made no changes/repairs and that it ran fine for them?

Sorry to hear your problems. Wanna hear about your next range report.

RF was never on my list of go-to AR builders, and they ain't getting any closer to making it.

Ive got their ar7 pistol, cant say I am a huge fan. A lot if light primer strikes, havent shot yet since I instqlled the enhanced firing pin.

Lol. They fired one round, it locked on empty and declared it perfect.

When you buy Radical, you become a part time employee in the QC department.

In other CS news. I got a call from Mike at Sons of Liberty Gunworks yesterday. He didn't say, but I think it was the owner of the company. He apologized for misplacing my order and to tell me it was going out today with a hat and extra swag thrown in for my trouble.

Mike is the owner.

Just yesterday I was discussing a review of a complete radical carbine posted on a major national firearms news website. Two major findings in that review. #1 Castle nut was basically hand tight, from the factory. #2 The gas port was not located correctly on the barrel, causing the gas block to overlap the port and creating a partial obstruction. Short stroking ensued. And that's not something you can really fix without getting into Bubba gunsmith territory. The rifle was basically FUBAR.
