Due to a recent discovery that my daughter is allergic to dogs, we must find a new home for our family dog. Our dog, Georgia, is a 2 year old spaniel/terrier mix. Georgia was born August 11, 2010 and has been with our family since November 6, 2010. She weighs approximately 20-25 pounds, she is house-trained, she is spaded, and her rabies shots are up to date, and she has a location microchip. I would rather her go to another loving family rather than take her to a shelter. I will include her crate, remaining food, bowls and other dog related items that we will no longer need. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested or have any questions.

Thanks,
VTRD

Thank you very much for the suggestion, but we have always used hypoallergenic soap. We recently found out that she was allergic to dogs as a result of an allergy test (we were trying to confirm a peanut allergy). My daughter was crushed when she heard that one of her major allergies was to dogs.

Thank you so much for taking a look and advice...

She's beautiful!!! Couple questions before I can go any further.
1. How is she with other dogs? I have a 70lb Boxer and a 22lb Jack Russel Terrier. Both Males.
2. She Been tested for Heartworms?
3. How are her social skills with other people and animals? Skittish, happy, etc....
4. 100% house trained?? No peeing inside?? Lol.

Let me know. I may come scoop her up. My wife and I are huge animal lovers and have big fenced in backyard for our "boys" to play in.

We have never had her around other dogs directly... She has never had any issues in passing other dogs when we have taken her walking and Pet Smart... Unfortunately, I can not give a definitive answer on this question.

She was tested when we took ownership of her. When we update her rabies shots we also get the heartworm treatment.

She loves people, she becomes very excited then wants to get to know them. She likes to be near a someone (like right now she is balled up at my feet)... When we have visitors that are not dog people we generally have to keep her calm to limit the love she likes to share.

Yes, she is 100% house trained no peeing inside at all...

She would love the ability to run free, we were not able to provide her with that as our yard is not fenced...

If you would like to meet her, we can arrange a meet up... That way you can see if she will fit in...

IM sorry to hear that shes beautiful i have a pup that was a rescue and looks identical

Thanks, she has been awesome and we will miss her...

Due to the fact we have a couple of options not involving a shelter, I will be closing down this thread. Thanks to everyone who has viewed this thread, offered advice and commented via the thread and PMs.
