This is a WW2 "window flag." These were common and each star represents one son away at war. This was in my Grandmom's house in Barnsville. Notice the last one looks added. It was. Three went away right after Pearl and the fourth one begged to get in and finally did at just 16 years old. His name was Charles and he was my favorite uncle.
