2016 Kentucky Elk Hunt Story

Congrats! I've been wanting to do this ever since they opened tags to nonresident hunters.
Your predicament with the cow between the trees brought back painful memories from a successful New Mexico mule deer hunt in 1969. Great hunt but getting that big boy out still makes my back hurt 47 years later. Memories that's what it's all about. Thanks for making my day!

VA, and other eastern states where Elk once roamed to help reinstate them to their original range. We also help western ranchers get their properties into trusts that allow public hunting with minimum federal government intervention. Sounded like a great time.Think thats what im gonna do from now on,if im goin to hunt.No more hunting club drama and a lil better odds on a nice wall hanger.
